CutisRx facilitates access to independent, third-party telehealth provider networks. By requesting telehealth services through the platform, you consent to evaluation, chart review, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, follow-up, and related communications through telehealth technologies when an independent licensed healthcare professional determines telehealth is appropriate.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth is the use of electronic communications and information technologies, such as online questionnaires, photos, secure messaging, video, audio, and electronic records, to support remote healthcare services. Depending on applicable law and clinical needs, telehealth may include asynchronous provider review, a live audio or video consultation, or both. Any live consultation required by law or the treating provider must be completed before a prescription can be approved.
Risks and benefits
Telehealth can make care more convenient and accessible, but it has limits. Risks include incomplete or inaccurate information, technology failures, delays, privacy or security risks, and the possibility that a provider may decide telehealth is not appropriate for your concern or that in-person care is needed.
Independent clinical judgment
CutisRx does not provide medical services, medical advice, or clinical diagnoses. All medical evaluations, chart reviews, prescribing decisions, and clinical encounters are conducted independently by licensed healthcare professionals within an outsourced, third-party telehealth provider network. A prescription or product is not guaranteed.
Prescriptions and fulfillment
If an independent licensed healthcare professional determines that a prescription or treatment is appropriate, fulfillment and pharmacy services are handled by independent, licensed third-party pharmacies or fulfillment partners. CutisRx does not compound, dispense, or ship prescription products.
Records and communications
Information you submit may become part of records maintained by the applicable independent provider network or pharmacy. You consent to receiving service-related communications by email, SMS, phone, portal message, or other electronic methods, subject to applicable law.
Emergencies
Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw telehealth consent by notifying the applicable provider or emailing noreply@cutisrxskincare.com. Withdrawal does not affect services already provided and may limit your ability to continue using telehealth services through the platform.
